Wow, for outside, on the street vox pop, could be very usefull !

at around 3min , when you dim it, i think i'm seeing some flickering/refresh rate ... Is that "normal" ?

I know LEDs are traditionally too soft, but what about using it with a cookaloris? with such a high output it might be enough for a pattern in the background. it also looks like it count make a great, and quick backlight.

I'm with Homing, was I really seeing that 'refresh' or sync when you dimmed it? If so, that's too bad because I was gonna buy one of these...

Thank goodness they upgrade the shoe mount on the 770. I bought mine largely on the reviews here and unfortunately the plastic shoe mount doesn't fit in to my EX-1 at all, and barely fits (with force) into my 7D's shoe.

Oddly enough, it fits fine into my Nasty Clamp, also purchased based on your review. So my 770 mostly sits on my desk as a light for my webcam.

Please, please, please don't start reviewing high-end automobiles or I may go broke!

Seems like there may be a problem with the 732 guys. Just shot another gearbox. Check it out when it's posted.

Can't cut a cookie with it I'm afraid.

Maybe with the new LED Fresnels from Lite Panels.

We'll see.

ALZO is looking into the problem to see if it's an isolated case to one fixture or not. They have great customer service so I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of this.

Also, I wouldn't recommend sticking light directly into your cameras lens. Only I'm allowed to do that!
