Jem,

As always thanks for giving us the benefit of your trial and error experience. Of course I am going broke buying all the stuff you recommend. ;)

Also, looks like the Mary Poppins link is wrong. How about this one:

Great video. Do you know if the EEFX material is available in the UK?

Looking forward to seeing your results from the Canon 7D.

Hey Dale,

Me too! Not sure what the 7D's going to look like, but with a good keyer (and I have a new one to test), I'm hopeful.

As far as EEFX goes, I don't think they have a UK office, but they'll ship over there. Hopefully the tariffs won't be too bad.

Hey Gem, thanks for the history lesson on Sodium Vapor process. I've read a lot of film and TV history but never came across that one. That would be a great invention if they could duplicate the process electronically. What a time saver getting a perfect matte during shooting!

Thanks for the very informative videos and not having to sit through a flashy repetitive open like some other tutorials. Although it would be nice to have a quick text synopsis of the show to determine if it was something I wanted to watch all the way through.

Hey Dave,

Pretty cool, huh? There's some stuff that does exist right now. Check out the ReflecMedia stuff. There are live keyers out there (think weather forecasts), but it seems that for smaller or very large production that there are advantages to using actual green screens. Tracking is one consideration.

I will consider the synopsis suggestion. Just trying to keep it very video based and light on the copy.

Take care,

Jem,

What is the size of the Green Screen you have? You're probably one of the most resourceful guys online, period. Since I've discovered theC47 I've been glued to almost every episode. You are doing a great job with this blog! Wish I could just afford every damn thing you suggest but I think practicing and getting comfortable with what I have should be fine. Now I'm thinking GREEN!!!

Take Care.

Hey Marcus,

Mine is 8 x 10 and I hang it both ways depending on if I need more width or height. If I was getting one again I would probably get a 10 x 12.
