This was a single take and really done to make sure that gearbox got done. Giuseppe had to make an adjustment to the aperture about half way through and there really was no time to do another take. It was the first gearbox shot with the juicedLink 431 and DN101. Also using what is probably my favorite lens. The Zeiss ZE 85mm.

Hey Jem, you were right, the 2.0.3 firmware update is a pretty simple task. However, one thing I never found was confirming the file size of the update download on Canon's site to compare that to the actual downloaded file. So, I downloaded it twice, and confirmed both were exactly the same file size. One other potential gotcha is one must have at least a 1.1.0 firmware to start with for this to work properly. Can't imagine anyone not having at least that version, but one never knows.

Hey Jem and Gius, Just wondering I see you are using the DN101. Iassume you are not using it to kill AGC since you have the firmware. Probably using it to monitor the audio correct? I have a 7D and am currently stuck with AGC. Do you think I would b good in the interim to use the DN101 to kill the agc noise? I know it's not prefect but is it acceptable for most applications?
