No time for tweaking tonight. The light could have been brighter, higher, etc. It was a desk lamp. It is what it is.

BTW, the D.C. Workshop next weekend still has some spots. Sign up before the 15th if March if you want in on the early bird price which is $100 off. Class start Friday, March 19th. I'll be driving down with lots of gear early that day.

I'd love to see the same scene shot side by side with the 2 cameras on the exact same lens, same camera settings. Shoot one camera, take it out, put the lens on the other one, and then shoot the exact same thing adjusting the camera position to create roughly the same Field of View to accommodate the different sensor sizes.

Dying to see that!

Very informative as always. Thanks

Jem,

Didi you try to custom set the white balance for each camera using the same white card?

Ben,

I'm going to do that. Maybe in Vegas ;-)

Drew,

I didn't on this one, but I will be testing that. It may be the best way to get a match in camera. I did use a white card and white balance in post, but even then the 7D need to be pushed more to the blues. Obviously that's not shown in the split screen. That's the color right off the sensors with the cameras "matched".
