Note to self... Wearing a "Members Only" jacket that rustles is not the best idea. Listen with headphones and you'll see what I mean.

P.S. - Last chance to sign up for the Toronto workshop this coming weekend. Two spots left.

Jem - thank you! I had the exact same problem regarding the update. I spoke with an Apple tech in ProApps support who told me to sit tight. He had the same problem on his Mac Pro but didn't have a work around yet. He thought they might have a correction via the App Store at some point this evening.
For those wondering -> events and projects reloaded just fine via Jem's update method. I have one complex project for a client with over 100 clips accessed from an event library with 300 clips in it and it all updated perfectly.
Jem,
Love the rim light!

Wearing a true "Members Only" jacket is always a bad idea....
The update is 1.44gb? So it reinstalls FCPX all over again. Hope that is right. :)
Thanks for the info Jem.

One caveat to the mentioned method is your system may still recognize FCPX installed if it's not deleted from the trash before the re-install. I've read of some having that issue, and deleting FCPX app from the trash will remedy this. The Apple tech I spoke with had me perform the delete before the re-install. Kinda spooky, but it worked. Just letting know in case you have trouble updating to 10.0.1
