There’s a shorthand we have developed and an efficiency that only comes from working together for many, many years.
Jem Schofield
Jem is a producer, director, DP and educator and is the founder of theC47.
He spends most of his time producing content, educating others and being borderline obsessed with cameras, lighting and the craft of storytelling.
For over 25 years, Jem has produced projects for an ever expanding client base. He is also a published author, well known educator in the industry and an equipment design consultant.
Jes Schofield
Jessica Workman-Schofield is a Pacific Northwest-based producer, production coordinator, professional photographer and partner in theC47. With over 25 years of experience as a still photography and producer she brings a deep knowledge and love of visual storytelling to her work.
Jessica also enjoys cooking, travel, and capturing life’s moments through her lens.
James Kwan
James Kwan has shot around the country collaborating with a diverse roster of directors and production creatives who share a passion for innovative filmmaking and impactful storytelling. His credits include various commercials and music videos over the years. He has shot features including Sunlight which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and SXSW Sydney (2024, executive produced by Christopher Guest) and Mary Margret Road Grader (2022, Executive Produced by George R. R. Martin). Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, he studied at the University of New Mexico and gained entry into the International Cinematographers Guild in 2021.
Patrick McMahon
After growing up in Maine and studying Film and Animation at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Patrick moved to Los Angeles in 2008 to work in post production and can’t imagine doing anything else. He has a blast learning new skills as the landscape continually changes (and he definitely doesn’t miss tape laybacks!). He’s worked in advertising, fitness, docu-news, education & animated kids content. He’s always on the lookout for fun & engaging content to cut.
Meghan Noce
Meghan Noce is a camera technician and focus puller working in the film industry on major motion pictures and television shows. She has been in the industry since 2012 and is a ICG 600 member primarily working in Los Angeles and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Meghan’s passion for cameras has brought her to work as a 1st AC on such films as Monkeypaw’s HIM, A24’s Onslaught, and Hulu’s feature film Flamin’ Hot.
Veronica Dontas
Veronica is a seasoned video editor with over 15 years of experience in post-production, digital marketing, and documentary filmmaking. She has collaborated with major brands such as Nike, Age of Learning and ESPN Brasil,crafting engaging narratives across various platforms. Specializing in long-form content, and educational media, she combines technical expertise with creative vision. She also teaches video editing classes in partnership with nonprofits, using her skills to give back to the community while fostering the next generation of diverse storytellers.
Dan Phakos
Dan is a multi-disciplinary creator that has over fifteen years of experience in the Photo, Video Production and Film industry. He has experience working in many different positions in the camera department as well as over a decade of post-production as an editor. These days, Dan works primarily as a Director of Photography and Virtual Production expert.
Jon Roemer
Jon Roemer is an accomplished filmmaker, director of photography (DP), camera operator, and licensed drone pilot based in South Portland, Maine. With over a decade of experience in visual storytelling, Jon brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative vision to every project he undertakes.
His work spans a wide range of genres, including documentary, branded content, commercial, narrative, and live events.
Aldo Re
Aldo Re began his career as a sound engineer in the early 90s. In 2000 he made a significant shift into broadcast, where he specialized as a location sound mixer for TV shows and documentaries where he advanced to the role of A1 for prestigious live events such as the Alpine Ski World Cup, UEFA Champions League, and the London Olympic Games.
Today, he continues to pursue his profession with dedication and expertise.
